When you can have anything, and everything, that you want, you end up with a kitchen that looks something like this. This grandiose kitchen was designed in Intrigue cabinetry. It has a traditional raised-panel door style in a contemporary white & gray color palette. Every zone in this kitchen makes a statement. The expansive cooking zone is suitable for even the most discerning chef. The 72" wide, panel-ready refrigerator & freezer with wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling, storage has it's own zip code. The entertainment zone includes a beverage refrigerator, an area for wall-mounted TV & ample storage for snacks & beverages. The banquette seating is perfect for large families and entertaining. All of that plus drawers galore, stacked wall cabinets with glass inserts and appliance garage cabinets to keep counters free & clear of clutter.
Surfs up! This beach house was designed using a classic white & rich navy blue color palette. This color combination provided a quintessential coastal-look & feel and was the perfect compliment to bringing the outdoors in. This space includes a customize range hood, apron sink, floating shelves, built-in refrigerator, two-tiered island with seating for four & stacked wall cabinets with glass. The family room has a built-in entertainment center with a traditional bead-board back, stacked cabinets with glass, generous storage, open shelving & an area for a big screen TV.
This Spa-like Master Bath was designed with luxury & relaxation in mind. The serene teal-green color palette provides a calm & soothing quality, while the bright white finishes offer a clean & crisp atmosphere. The large, free-standing soaking tub is fit for a Queen, & the large, airy shower is perfect for her King. The ample cabinets provide lavish amounts of storage and the expansive vanity affords plenty of space for even the most discriminating types. The built-in wall mirrors reflect copious amounts of window light back into the room adding to the light & airy feel. This Spa-like retreat is the perfect escape to relax, unwind & wash away the troubles of the day.
If you can dream it; I can design it. Any space, any size, any price point.
Dreams really can come true!
This beauty was designed in KraftMaid cabinetry by Cabinetworks. Traditional gray & white cabinetry with a modern feel. There are so many focal points in this beautiful space, it's hard to decide what to look at first. For me, the showstopper is the entertainment center between the kitchen & the family room. No wall? No problem! This custom piece is accessible from both sides, from the kitchen or the family room. The open center allows a direct sight-line from either room. The custom bookshelves @ each end are perfect for books, especially cookbooks, decor', art & collectibles. The pantry cabinets with roll-out trays on each side of the refrigerator offer tons of storage as do the abundant amount of drawers in an assortment of sizes. The range hood is custom built, the unencumbered island seats four and the same style legs on the island are used on each side of the sink, tying it all together. The stacked glass cabinets with mullions add a particular feel of elegance to the space. Top that off with large, distinctive cove crown molding taken to the ceiling and you truly do have the kitchen that dreams are made of.
This real life kitchen remodel & design presented a challenge. Do you see it? ;-)
The homeowner had taken down a load baring wall. In doing so a large support beam was left that expanded the entire length of the space. At one end the beam ran right thru an area where the client's had moved their range & wanted wall cabinets. Spaces that create these challenges are my favorite spaces to design. I love the problem solving process & coming up with solutions that others might have missed. Another fun feature in this kitchen is the hidden pantry which is basically an entirely other room. The tall pantry to the left of the refrigerator is actually a pass-thru to a butler's pantry. The butler's pantry which was also designed at a later time, came complete with a full sized refrigerator, a built-in microwave, a tall utility cabinet with roll outs, wall cabinets with glass inserts, floating shelves & a coffee bar. The only things this kitchen didn't come with was the butler! :-)
